To celebrate the publication of rugby legend Johnny Sexton’s hotly anticipated autobiography Obsessed join him at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre for an electric evening of conversation and insights into his life and career. A hardcover of Obsessed is included in the ticket price and can be collected in the Theatre Foyer before the event.

Always outspoken on and off the field Johnny will share with the audience an honest analysis of The Sexton Era, an era marked by four European Cups, four Six Nations championships (including two Grand Slams), unprecedented victories in the Southern Hemisphere, two stints for Ireland at number 1 in the world, and the World Player of the Year award 2018.

Listen as he delves into stories from his childhood and his seemingly inauspicious early experiences in club and professional rugby when as late as May 2009, aged 24, he was nowhere near first choice at Leinster and still uncapped by Ireland. Johnny will also share insights into his relationships with key teammates and coaches (including Brian O’Driscoll, Paul O’Connell, Joe Schmidt and Andy Farrell), and his ideas about the game.
