TODAY FM’S FERGAL D’ARCY TO STAR IN SPAMALOT | 23 -27 JAN 2018
TODAY, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is delighted to announce the casting of Fergal D’Arcy as Patsy in SPAMALOT which will play from 23 – 27 January 2018.
Galway native Fergal D’Arcy made his name on iRadio, the North East/North West station, presenting the afternoon slot for 8 years, between 3pm and 6pm. Prior to that he was with Clare FM where he started his career as a breakfast presenter/producer and picked up a radio gong at the industry PPI awards in 2008 for best Light Hearted Magazine Programme. D’Arcy has been involved in several musical societies across Ireland including Bravo Theatre Company, Twin Productions and Loughrea Musical Society. Last year he played Houdini in Ragtime, Sir Lancelot in the Irish amateur premiere of Spamalot and received an AIMS nomination for his role as St. Jimmy in American Idiot.
He is currently rehearsing for the role of Nick Arnestein in Funny Girl with Kilmacud Musical Society. As an amateur drama theatre star, Fergal D’Arcy is ecstatic to make his first Bord Gáis Energy Theatre stage debut in Spamalot, picking up his coconuts once again to give them a rattle as Patsy this January 2018..
