Shane Richie to appear in NOT DEAD ENOUGH

Following his role in the hugely successful UK and Ireland  tour of The Perfect Murder alongside Jessie Wallace, award-winning actor Shane Richie is now set to star alongside Laura Whitmore in Peter  James’ NOT DEAD ENOUGH at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Shane will appear in selected performances only, sharing the role of Detective Superintendent Roy Grace with another multi award winning actor, Bill Ward, who recently left ITV’s Emmerdale in an explosive exit.

Richie will be performing as DS Roy Grace in four shows only across Friday 21 and Saturday 22 April, with Ward appearing in all other performances from 18 to 20 April inclusive.

Shane Richie has played numerous roles on stage and screen and is perhaps best known for his role as Alfie Moon in BBC TV’s EastEnders. He will next be seen on screen in his upcoming role in Redwater, a six-part series based on EastEnders’ characters Kat and Alfie Moon as they embark on a new life in Ireland, which is set to broadcast in early 2017.

Shane said of Not Dead Enough:  “I am so pleased that I have been able to get a few days off filming so that I can return to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre with the next thrilling Peter James play in the role of his famous detective DS Roy Grace. The theatre and people of Dublin are very special to me, so it was brilliant to perform The Perfect Murder there last year to such packed and wonderful audiences and I look forward to doing so again in April.”
