plus Special Guest
Following a whirlwind 18 months since the release of his debut album ‘Bitter Pill’; which saw Gavin James sell over 2 million singles worldwide, amass ½ billion streams, perform to over 3 million people and hit No.1 with his breakout single ‘Nervous’ everywhere from Ireland all the way to Brazil, Gavin James has established himself as one of the leading breakthrough artists of the past year.
The key to his success, has in part been due to his relentless touring schedule, seeing him support many of today’s leading artists Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, as well as performing a number of headline tours across Europe, America and Australia including sold out dates at The Forum in London, 3 Arena in Dublin and Heineken Music Hall (6,000 people in Holland).
His debut album studio album, Bitter Pill has achieved Platinum in his native Ireland and reached the Top 5 of the album charts across Europe. He was also awarded Song of The Year for the album’s title track at the Choice Music Prizes. Gavin has also appeared on several TV show inkling American television shows Jimmy Kimmel, The Late Late Show with James Corden (twice!) and Dancing with Stars.
Alongside this his breakout hit ‘Nervous’ caught the ear of Alan Walker who collaborated with Gavin James on the summer smash hit “Tired” across Europe which has already reached over 100 Million Streams.
Gavin’s sophomore album, which is due for release in Spring 2018, will no doubt build upon his breakout success of the past 18 months, which in addition to the above also saw Gavin have the most played independent single (‘Nervous’) across European radio in 2016, amass over 11.2M monthly listeners on Spotify to become the 110h most listened to artist in the world.
